Account Executive (AE) Training Program

Program Overview
Aloha HP’s Account Executive (AE) Training Program is designed to train transitioning service members in the key skills required to succeed in business development, client relationship management, and sales strategy. This program places participants in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment where they’ll learn how to build client pipelines, present staffing and workforce solutions, and drive company growth.
Trainees will work closely with senior AEs and managers to understand how to sell staffing and logistics services, qualify opportunities, and manage customer accounts. This SkillBridge program prepares participants to step into high-value client-facing roles with confidence and clarity.
Training Objectives
- Learn the foundations of B2B sales and account management
- Understand Aloha HP’s staffing services, logistics offerings, and industry verticals
- Identify and research prospective clients using CRM tools and market intelligence
- Participate in outreach campaigns via phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings
- Support and observe contract negotiations, rate discussions, and proposal development
- Manage and update client records, track communications, and maintain CRM accuracy
- Collaborate with recruiters, operations, and leadership to meet customer needs
Program Duration
- Full-time internship: 4-6 months (40 hours/week)
Delivery Method
- On-site or hybrid training in Hawaii and California (based on location and availability)
- One-on-one mentorship with experienced Account Executives
- Live client interaction and call shadowing
- Structured online and internal sales training materials
- Weekly reporting and sales pipeline reviews
Program Components

CRM Systems | HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms for tracking and managing deals |
Presentation Skills | Writing proposals, delivering pitches, and communicating value |
Pipeline Management | Following up with leads, tracking conversions, and forecasting revenue |
Cross-Team Coordination | Working with recruiters and client services to fulfill job orders |
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and confident communicator
- Comfortable presenting solutions to clients and handling objections
- Interested in business development, sales, consulting, or entrepreneurship
- Prior leadership, project management, or operations experience in the military a plus
- No formal sales experience required — just a drive to learn and succeed

Compliance & Program Guidelines
- This is a non-paid internship and complies fully with all DoD SkillBridge regulations
- Participants remain on active duty and continue receiving military pay and benefits
- No displacement of civilian workers; program is purely for career training and transition
- Approved training plans reviewed by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)

- Assignment to Hawaii or California based on availability and background fit
- Begin onboarding and shadowing period
